Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Is your Yorkie a 'talker'? Most amusingly Crystal has started 'speaking'. This involves a low gutteral, multi key growl, culminating in little high level yap type sounds. The crescendo is accompanied by much eyeball swivelling, tail twitching and hind leg stilt dancing! These activities normally ensue following the humans eating, or especially when it's play time with the everlasting 'squeaky ball' throw/fetch routine. The prelude to this activity entails much reverse snorting and front leg hopping, rather like a demented 'Highland reel' dancer on steroids! She's now a month or so off her first birthday and seems to be becoming ever more eccentric. Apparently they are supposed to mimic their owners character so I've heard, so can't understand where it comes from at all! |

| All 3 of mine talk, I love it. When Boo asks to go outside you can hear the question mark at the end. Yogi is constantly talking to me about lack of food or wanting me to play with him. He does the cutest little harumph when he brings me a toy and I "don't see it". But Gracie Ruth has them both beat. She talks to her toys and makes up whole stories as she plays with them. She'll tattle on her brothers and has been known to back talk when told to do something she doesn't want to do. She'll swish her bum from side to side as she walks away and will throw a 'what-e.v.e.r Momma' woof over her shoulder at me. It's gotten her into trouble more than once.

| Bubba is a grumbler and Sissy is my tattler. Yes, Theresa, I know that little butt switch well, it's kind of like nanny, nanny, nanny.

| Oh my goodness, yes! I can't believe such LOUD SOUNDS can come out of such a TINY little thing! She's always barking, growling (when playing), yipping, and I swear, she even meows.

| Billi's a talker when she wants something from us, or doesn't get her way. She does that pouting "harumph!!" but will throw herself into her front paws when she's doing it. She'll jump up and push on my legs when I'm at my desk, like "MOOOOM, come pllllaaaayyy!" And I too am no stranger to the booty sway. Such sassy little things they are!!

| Laddy is a talker, Kyra is not. Kyra is a eye contact pup lol, if she wants something its the sweetest expression, if mad its the horrible stink eye and man can she give good ones of those.

| Megan was a smiler, but would bark up a storm at the door bell, I used to answer it with her in my hands, and tell them she was my killer attack dog. Gina is a talker, from growls to barks, dancing, tail wagging, ears and just about any other she can. Megan was a sickly pup, Gina is in great health, so it's been a very different experience between the two. Cheers Quad & Gina

| Princeton is vocal....Ricky doesn't talk too much. Princeton barks when people come to the door...or when he thinks they do...but he also has other vocalizations. He talks when he wants a treat or he wants out at night. That is how he wakes me up....and if I don't respond, he gets louder and more intense. He also is very loud when he's playing....he sounds really vicious too....and he's also mouthy and growley when he's got treats or he's made to move when he doesn't want to. He's very protective over his treats and he will growl to let you know he's got them When he's fearful and ready to bite a stranger, he doesn't make a peep though. |

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Gellica is my talking dog. She says "Out" and "I love you" ... and she also sings! It is so funny. She will try to get the other guys going, but Phantom won't talk - he dances , and Sapphire just spins around and poses, or she will let out a bark. She thinks it's the same thing.

| Keegan's my talker (Piper may learn as she watches big brother). He's got the full range from grumbles to yelp-y playful talk, announcement/insistent barks, and conversational yammering that can include my favorite: he vocalizes while holding his head up and away from me, but rigidly side-eyeing me for full effect. It's hilarious and something I haven't been able to catch on camera yet.

| My Rico is a talker. When I get home from work he tells me all about his day. He also respond if I ask him a question. Soooo cute!!!! Coco's my warrior and defender of the castle. She has a deep hearty bark for a little girl.
