| Charlie isn't sure what to think... So it's here. We have been moving all weekend. I've kept Charlie with me between houses and he's being good as can be, but he seems like he isn't sure what to think. We spent the night at the other house last night and all he did was sniff around. He woke me up in the middle of the night once when he was on the side of my bed looking at me and decided to bark and wake me up. I am hoping he adjusts quickly. He peed on the carpet at the new place, which he doesn't normally do. He knows better. My boyfriend flipped about it and I am telling him it's because he is confused because he doesn't know where he is. Any suggestions for a smooth transition? I know everything will be ok, just wondering what others thoughts or suggestions are. |

| Aww.. poor Charlie. Sounds like something Magnus does when he's at a new place. I can't think of any suggestions other than just letting time do its work. Once Charlie get familiar with everything in the new home, he'll be back to his usual mouse hunter self. Congrats on finishing the move! |

YT 1000 Club Member | Set up a Potty Pad where it's convenient. Blot some of his Urine up with a Paper Towel Allow him to Poop, and pick up a small piece in that Paper Towel (just roll it all up where you won't soil yourself) Place the "bait" on the Potty Pad, where he'll have a scent ID for Pottying. Clean/de-scent all other accident areas.

| Charlie sounds like Gizmo when we moved last year. We got the "go-here spray" it has the smell that shows them where to use the restroom and we sprayed it on the area where we wanted him to go. We also made sure that we got him new toys and gave him his favorite treats to help him like the new space and feel more comfortable. If he has a special food make sure to give it to him to show him that good things happen at the new house. Good Luck! Keep us posted on the transition! |
