| Grow topknot, grow!! Ha, ha, here's my attempt at Tinkerbell's first topknot. This was only accomplished because she just played very hard for two hours and she's out of it! (Did someone say something about ugly duckling yesterday?) Sorry Tinkerbell, but you have grey roots and you need a dye job! How long is it before their hair really grows enough for a cute topknot? |

| I think you did real good! I had Snoodles cut in a puppy cut. I started letting it grow out in Oct. Her top know is now about 6 inches long. I can fold it over and put a barrett on it now. It drove me nuts waiting for the hair on top on her eyes to grow long enough to get innto the bow instead of falling out over her eyes. |

| Don't worry, Hailey will get use to it. AT first Snoodles would roll around the floor, etc until she got it out. I always give her a treat after putting it in, and sometimes it would only stay in a few minutes, but it kept getting better and better. Now it is in all day. I may have to re-do it, but she is okay with it now. Just keep doing it, and it will come! Pat |

| I keep Milo's hair up like that too. At the end of the day, it looks rough. I can't wait til he has enough hair to keep up. It's too small for a bow yet. And yes he is a boy, but he doesn't know that boys don't wear bows.

| Also, you don't put the bows right on top between the ears, but rather on the forehead. I found little plastic bows at the dollar store that stays in. I have tried everything. Also, rubber bands with the bows dewn on them work fantastic! That was a tip from a fellow forum member. Pat |

| Your top knot looks great! I am soo jealous! I can not get Esme to stay still long enough for me to get anything on her head! AND, if I do get it in, she moves around so much it comes out crooked... Oh well, guess I just have to keep practicing! Mari
