| Lactulose??? My dog had surgery yesterday on his face to remove a mass. Today he has eaten but not had a drink - the vet said she wasn't too concerned as he had a drip yesterday to keep him hydrated and if he is eating that is a good sign. Problem is, my baby requires lactulose due to a liver problem, so with him not drinking he is not getting his much needed treatment. My question is, I have mixed his lactulose dose into his wet food which he happily gobbled up, will this still work? Thanks all x |

| Hi and Welcome to YT! Yes it still works, works best when given with food. You can also add a bit of water to the food to increase his water intake.
