| Do you think its okay to leave her harness on her? I am the ditzy's person sometimes, it took me like a half an hour to try to figure out how to put it on her right, AND that was with me following the directions. lol I didn't actually get it then, my HUSBAND did! haha Anyways.. she's had it like 4 days now and I've just left it on her since we stay home mostly.. do you think that's okay for her?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | No to scare you, but there was a gal here on YT, whose pup's harness got caught on an x-pen and died, I guess, from choking. If I remember correctly I think they were only gone from the house a couple of hours. I think that would be pretty unusal, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Maybe ya just need so practice putting it on

| no, dont leave it on... please, it can be dangerous... you know what i found out is really easy,, buy her a step in harness... just her two little paws go into the hole and it snaps up on top and presto, its on.... very simple... i had a hard time also with the other harnessess, could not figure it out, and once i did it came off cause lexi was squirming...

| the thing that is really bad to keep on her is a collar, they can get caught and hand themselves, i just wouldnt leave anything on her, just in case, better safe than sorry, right?

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | You just got the same advise I was going to offer you - I have a hard time with them too - I found the larger harnesses (thicker material) are easier to put on than the little tiny ones - that.... or get a harness VEST or dress - they're very easy to put on and look really REALLY cute ! We just got a few totally adorable harnesses for the girls in their Christmas gifts and they are so cute... I want them to wear them all the time !! |

| We leave Loki's collar w/ tags on him unless he is in his crate (when no one is home). He is a bolter and my husband insists he have his tags on him in case he ever got out. I have been leaving his easy walk harness on him during the day while someone is home. He is good about sitting to let me put it on, but he goes outside like every 45 mins sometimes so he gets sick of it. We don't have any gates or ex-pens and someone is watching him while we are home. What else could they get stuck on besides a crate or ex-pen? I use the step-in harness for the car, and I don't leave that one on him. Honestly, his easy walk is easier to get on him than a step in harness, and he can't really get at it to chew on it like the step-in one. Maybe try that one? They sell them at Petsmart. It slips over their head like a collar (easy) then buckles under the belly. It sits lower so no trachea issues and then it attaches in front so they can't pull on the leash.

YT 5000 Club Member | I wouldn't leave it on just b/c I would be scared she might get it caught on something! I am scared to leave Gidget's collar on in the house! (I am a worry wart though! )
