| Little girl in need of help in Central Illinois The MIL of a neighbor of mine has a little 2 year old girl (not sure about the exact age) that may be in need of a home. The MIL has been in and out of the nursing home and they just took her to the nursing home again yesterday. I was going to take this little girl last year but the MIL didn't want to give her up then so I found Molly and brought her home instead. Now the daughter in law called me this morning asking if I had any ideas on who would want this little thing or else they are going to "just get rid of her". I hate this!!!! I waited for about 8 months last year because I knew this elderly woman was going to have to give up her Yorkie at some point because of health reasons and then gave up waiting because she was in and out of the nursing home and didn't want to give her up. One time my neighbor left the dog in the woman's apartment for 4 days alone only stopping by a couple of times to let the dog outside and feed her when the MIL was in the nursing home. I don't have a picture, don't know anything else about this little dog except her name is Susie. If anyone knows of someone in central IL area looking for a Yorkie please PM me. Thanks.

| Yes she is a Yorkie. She is around 2 from what I was told. I don't know much more about her.

| I don't need another but I would consider it if they could get her to Texas.

| Has she decided to finally give her up now? I hope she finds her a good home... I also hope she is spayed.

| She is spayed. The family is having a meeting with the doctor and a family counselor tomorrow to see if they recommend she go into an assisted living facility. My neighbor told me the elderly lady has her on terrible food and Susie is getting fat from lack of exercise. She is also not getting brushed because my neighbor takes Susie to PetSmart and gets her shaved because her mats are bad. My neighbor did say she was current on her shots. The elderly lady bought the dog when her husband passed away for company and that is why she is having a hard time giving her up.

| Thank you, I will keep you posted. Hopefully the elderly woman realizes she can't take care of Susie and decides to do what is the best thing for her. The meeting is today to determine if she needs to go into assisted living or can continue to reside in her apartment. I have never met Susie in person but her story just tugs at my heart strings. I feel sorry for the elderly lady to be in this position and I feel sorry for Susie.
