| Clean bill of health Monty got the results of his heartworm test and he does not have heartworm, he is now on his meds. The ticks apparently are just dog ticks and do not carry disease so that is good as well. Very expensive trip to the vet though. |

| Congratulations!!! I love clean bills of health! Tibbe has been on heartworm preventative all of his life and gets the heartworm test x2 yearly, I think it is.

| I was quite happy as well. There was no threat of heartworm in the UK so this is Monty's first time. I found my vet very expensive though. For the test, the medication, topical cream for a sore on his leg and a cone (in case he licks it off), plus the examination, the bill came to over 320.00. Is this normal? Of course you can't put a price on your pets health but I don't want to feel that I am paying way too much either. |
