| Biewer question I was wondering what Biewer fur is like? I have a 16 week old puppy and her hair is not like my regular Yorkie. Her hair is more cottony and get very tangled. I have even noticed some small fur balls of the dark color on the carpet. I have never seen my regular Yorkie lose fur. Is this normal of a Biewer? Thanks for any information.

| My Bogie has a cotton coat and mats like nobody's business. I think that in Biewers they can either be silky coated or cotton coated or a combination coat, just as in traditional yorkies. Your baby may just be losing his puppy coat. I would love to see pictures of your little guy.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | It sounds like both your puppy's coats may be cottony right now, but that might change as they grow and get their adult coats. I use a lot of Plush Puppy OMG on their coats during the growing up and growing out stages. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I also brush Galen with a cat brush. It works wonderful to keep mats away.
