Donating YT 500 Club Member | Clyde's Worst Haircut So last year I went to Disney Land and Clyde stayed with a friend of the family. The friend of the family just so happened to be living with an aspiring dog groomer. She took it upon herself to give Clyde a haircut! The stupidest thing is, he had just had a haircut a week before hand. I always cut Clyde's hair because I know exactly how I want it to be done... People said he didn't look that bad... but it was just sad seeing him so naked!! Any other bad grooming pictures out there? Picture A) How I groom Clyde Picture B) How she groomed Clyde |

| Awww, he's cute in BOTH pics! I've never had Mandie groomed, but some of her very first pics were after her previous owners did a schnauzer cut on her..bless her heart. She's still recovering by trying to grow hair lol I don't have a pic at work, but I think the pic on my profile page is one of them..

I didn't even think it was him running at me at first LOL. I think that Mandie looks very cute I went and looked at her earlier pictures and she pulled the schnauzer cut off pretty well LOL Last edited by Clyde_Dexter; 02-25-2013 at 12:09 PM. | |

| Clyde is so cute he looks good even on a bad hair day. I am taking Lola to a pet sitter next week, she only sits yorkies and has 3 of her own, some days she might even have another 5 or 6. I have been using her for years and although I love her and her set up, she does one odd thing that bugs me. On Wed she takes all of them to the groomer. I was surprised that someone would do this without asking, she said to me when I picked my Kirby up, oh the groomer hardly had to do anything to him he was in good shape. I said WELL THAT"S BECAUSE I TOOK HIM TO THE GROOMER IN THE MORNING BEFORE I BROUGHT HIM OVER. Now I made sure to tell her in advance DO NOT take Lola to the groomer, she will be freshly bathed and groomed when I drop her off. I would never leave my dogs with someone if they were not clean, nails clipped, hair trimmed and so forth. It's a hard lesson to learn, especially if you have a top knot going on that they decide to cut off

| Yeah, that's weird someone would groom your dog without permission. But he is adorable either way.

| She may have a little more 'aspiring' to do. But, Clyde is such a cutie, even badly cut, how could anyone not want to kiss that sweet little face? Still, it is rather strange that an 'aspiring' grooming 'student' would cut anyone's dog without express permission.

| He looks good no matter what. Since Amy got shaved from her first grooming cause she was so matted, I have been waiting for her hair to grow out. It is doing nicely and she will never get matted again. Next grooming she has done will be in a couple of weeks and I want her hair in a puppy cut using a number 3 blade from now on. |

| Haha that's cute! I am a hairstylist and am debating whether to cut Mia's hair myself. I know I could do it I would just need a grooming table...she wiggles too much! I may just take her to the groomers..she is 4 months and I've only trimmed around her eyes so far.

| To me your Clyde looks cute in both pictures.....but I know how you must have felt....OMG it happened to me as well many many years ago but not to my furbaby but to my DD.... My DD had beautiful long blonde hair my exsister inlaw asked for her to come over day as she wanted to take her to the beach.....when my exsister inlaw brought her home my DD had a pixie cut ..... she told me my DD had asked for a hair cut .... What the heck my DD was only 4 years old! Even now just thinking what happen I could just scream! True everyone said how cute she was with her hair cut and she still was a cutie. My DD new hair style grew on me as well I didn't have a choice (LOL) but if I had wanted her hair cut I would have done it myself. That was 20 years ago but your post brought back memories..... |

| 3 weeks ago I had Teasell in for a grooming before I left I told the young man several time not to touch (cut) top knot off but he could clear in between her eyes. Guess what worst hair cut ever. Even Teasell did not like it and hid her head. Found out later he was brand new from the grooming school. I was upset to say the least especially when you get there all the other dogs have been groomed well. I know now to request a certain groomer. But that will not make her top knot grow any faster. Took a full year to get her top knot long enought to put a ribbon in. Oh well at least it grows back |

| He looks cute either way. You are awesome to take it so well. After all it is just hair and the deed has been done. I had a similar incident with my DS. He was 5 and we were visiting my grandma. I was pregnant and tired so I decided to take a nap. He comes in the room smiling and waking me up to show me his braided 10" "tail" that just got cut off. I was shocked and asked my grandma why in the world did she just cut his tail off. Her response was.. "he asked me to" I was all LOL

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Clyde looks cute either way. I am just amazed at how many have had people groom their dogs without their permission. It's good to know though. If I have to leave mine with a sitter I will be sure to stress not to touch their hair.
