| Hiding puppy pads I have a 5 month old morkie who usually goes outside but uses the puppy pads when hanging out in our bedroom, any suggestions on how to make the puppy pad less discrete. |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk! One of our members here, RileyDC, made a stylish pad holder using a litter box and leopard-print little walls. I can't find the picture right now, but I'll send her message to post the picture here.

| I'm up in the back corner of a condo. building in the city... I set up a litter box in the back corner in my bedroom so Riley has access to a potty area if he really needs to use it while I'm gone. Instead of using the litter, I use the pads in the box. I trained him on the pads first but he is also trained to go outside. I was using the Purina Second Nature Litter Box [I don't even think they sell them, anymore....] but the opening was not very big so he would have to literally jump into it to use it. What he started doing was standing outside of it but lifting his leg and aiming to pee onto the pad. I was using the Big Squirt Litter Box from Rascal Dog Litter Box Company. I decorated it by wrapping the sides in leopard duct tape I found at Target. I didn't purchase the grass and I took the grates out and only have the pads in it. [I Have Attached A Pic. ...] BUT, I had also bought the Little Squirt, as well. I just, 2-nights ago started duct taping that one, but ran out of tape. I have set that one up in the corner of the bedroom and have put the Big Squirt away. If I were in a house I would for sure keep the Big Squirt up but the smaller one works better for us in my condo. [I will take a picture of the Little Squirt tonight after I get home and post it here!!] RASCAL DOG LITTER BOX COMPANY, L L C HOME PAGE I also bought a Diaper Genie Elite Pail for the used pads so there is No Smell! I love that one because you just step on it and it will open up.... Playtex Diaper Genie Elite Pail with Starter Refill: Diapering : Walmart.com Riley is pad trained as well as goes outside. It's sooo convenient because he travels a lot of places with me... and lot of friends houses... so I just show him where his Pad is and I've never had any problems and no accidents [knock on wood... ] I buy the pads from Ryan at: www.newpuppypads.com For the Big Squirt I was buying the 30 x 30 size ... but for the Little Squirt, I just ordered a box of the 17 x 24 size ... They should arrive tomorrow. [I got "300" of them for $39.50, FREE Shipping and they usually come FedEx in 1 or 2-days! Very FAST!!] Last edited by RileyDC; 01-31-2013 at 07:48 AM. |

| Thanks I am going to get the little squirt and decorate it with duct tape. I like how he can easily get to it but looks nice. Maybe I'll buy a small table to put on top and drape it with a cloth to make a tent so no one will notice it. My cats is hidden so I want his hidden to. |

| I think I'll go cheap! I'm going to use a plastic boot box. $10 Cut a opening in it, since Joey can't jump. And sand it til it's smooth.
