| Light Colored Yorkie The other day I had taken Zoey (my year old Yorkie) to brunch with me and someone passed by and said "oh honey look at that white Yorkie!" White Yorkie?! I know Zoey looks lighter than some yorkies I have seen but I've never thought of her as white. When I got her from a breeder she was black and tan. I know they change to grey and tan but she seems to look more silver with parts of her steel grey and her head looks blonde and tan. Is this normal? Her picture is my profile pic Last edited by Hnwilczewski; 01-08-2013 at 06:37 PM. |

| When my Rosie's coat grows out she looks almost white w the dark roots. The longer her hair grows the less you see the dark. When she gets trimmed...she looks dark again...her tan areas a light tan.

| Blazer is getting pretty light. His father is VERY light- gold/cream. There are 6 pups from his litter- three were black and three were brown at birth and now they are all pretty light colored. They're only 7 months old now, though, so they are still changing. I love Yorkie color changes! =D

| All I gotta say is if she's 'white yorkie' then I think I have one too! Your pup looks just like mine. What a cutie pie. People used to say the same thing about a yellow lab I had once too. "Gosh what a pretty white lab" Silly but a little bit funny. |

| You know, on YT someone referred to my Yorkies as being "so white" too. However, I have seen lots of Yorkies...some quite dark and some quite light. Brody's tan became a 'platinum blonde' then went more golden on his face. Mia lost all her black, went completely platinum blonde, then more golden all over. Hi, and welcome to YT! Your baby is beautiful!!! I wouldn't worry...
