| Depends on your area. Around here it's common for an office visit fee to be $30-40. If there is a Humane Society, they charge around $15 office visit fee. Then tack on meds if you need any, treatments, etc. For a non emergency I'm lucky if I get out of there for under $100 but less than $200 is my average. These are usually minor issues like itching or checking out weird bumps. Fortunately with Uni we've never had an emergency yet thank god! But with my last foster Scrappy, he started getting seizures and even before I blinked it was already up to $400 and that was just to get him stablized, no treatment with that cost. What are you bringing her in for if I may ask?

| If you wait till her adult teeth start coming in, they'll do a dental and pull any baby teeth that haven't come out on their own at the same time.

| I got the insurance at Petsmart - $36 a month for a year and it covers her visits, shots, and getting spayed. Meds are extra but are 10% off with the plan. |

| I usually suggest about 8 months. that way you know if any of those baby teeth aren't coming out on their own they will need to be pulled. If I remember correctly Uni's spay was about $500. That was included the blood panel, meds, everything.

| Our vet charges $65 / visit and our boys came fixed. However, I always recommend our local humane societies - they range from $35 for males and $50 for females

| Sorry we can't really nail a price down. It very much depends on your location, the Vet and exactly what is going to be done. If costs are a worry check out your humane society to see if they offer medical care. Our local Humane Society offers low cost spay and neuter, puppy plans for routine shots and affordable wellness check ups. They even have dental care clinic days and no appointment needed micro-chipping.

| Vet visits here are high. Personally, I'd spay at 6 months. You might also look into low cost spay clinics to see if you apply. Just google low cost spay certificates and you might find vets in your area who participate. I would ask them their procedures to make sure they were using safe anesthetic agents and procedures. There are stickies on this forum on those topics if you do a search. Good luck!
