| How much should she eat? Well I finally have my baby Zoey home. She'll be 10wks tomorrow and came home to us this past Friday. She's been separated from her mom since prior to 8wks and was going to come home then but the entire litter got runny stools and spent 5days on meds. I'll share pics soon but oh my gosh it's hard to get good pics of a solid black pup! (She's a shorkie, not full yorkie). We have our vet check appt today but I thought I'd ask you guys.. lol How much should she be eating? She drinks well but she's not a very good eater. I do give nutrical & have started wetting down her food again .. The breeder said she was eating dry food but she doesn't seem to eat more than 2-3 kibble pieces at a time.. If I soak it, I can get her to eat *maybe* 6-8 pieces. I do leave the dry food out all day for her . We had a small hypoglycemia scare Sunday but I gave her Karo and got her to eat some baby food chicken and she bounced back. Since then I've been giving her a little spoon of the baby food chicken morning and nite bc at least I know she'll eat that.. Thoughts? Any other advice?? Her breeder said to just give her food morning & nite and not leave it out during the day.. Obviously, I'm not comfortable with that at this point since she eats so little. But maybe w/ her being so tiny that's all she needs?? Ahhh! Oh and she weighs 27oz. She hasn't gained any weight in a week & half (was averaging 2 oz/wk) but I assume that's because of her poop issue she has last week. |

| I would keep food available for her at all times... Don't limit her eating at all. I would also use some wet food to moisten her kibble and make it more enticing.
