| do you cut that long lock on a female... that seems to be growing on her little peepee. When she sleeps on her back and gives me that shot, I have noticed that she has some long hair on her little peepee. No wonder I have drips on the potty pad after she pees on it and walks on the kitchen floor...do you cut that hair as short as you can get it right there? |

| Apparently my groomer must. Because my girls don't have long hair there.

| I always keep the hair around the opening to the urethra and the anus clipped back. Tibbe doesn't like me to do it but has grown used to it.

| Oh yes, when I groom Zhoie, she lays on the couch for nail trim and then give me the ole spread eagle and I trim her bug hair and the inside of her legs. By keeping it trimmed short, she tinkles straight down and not down her leg

| My groomer trims my girls and also the back end area as well. IF you do it your self be very careful so as not nip her.

| Oh yes, no pee pee hairs on the girls in this house. I like to keep the girls nice and trim. I use a small pair of scissors in between grooming. |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | For my un spayed girl I leave it long because is helps absorb the blood during her heat.

| I shave both my male and females' bellies and trim around there... It keeps them more sanitary.
