| Two New Boys After losing my baby Bubbles in February, I am an active Yorkie mum again. We got our two puppies on Saturday - brothers Biscuit and Bailey. Piccie They are settling in well, eating and sleeping well. We are trying to train them to go to the toilet outside instead of inside but that will take time I'm sure. They playfight a bit and it scares me at time when they knaw at each other - is it ok and normal for them to jump all over each other and bite at each other? |

| I have two brothers that are about nine months old and that is very normal for them to bite and go at it some times....mine don't get into a brawl as often as they did a few months ago...I guess they are maturing

| Oh my goodness how cute! We've thought about getting two yorkies at once, so they both have a pal, but I'm not sure we can do it. So sorry to hear about the loss of your Bubbles, but congratulations on these two little guys! They're adorable.

| aawww, Your new babies are too cute. I am no expert, but I am fairly certain the play fighting is normal. I am glad you have your new pups to help ease the loss of Bubbles. Good luck with training. |

| Thanks guys - we are having fun playing, training and getting to know each other right now. The breeder told me the fighting was normal and the whole litter fought like that, but I was just a little freaked out by it!! Thanks. |

| I'm a bit worried about the boys now, I always feared that two dogs would fight and my fears are being realised. It's all they do. They sleep for an hour and then fight for 2 hours and so it goes on. I know they're puppies but I just can't enjoy them at the moment. They have both hurt each other and scratched eachothers ears and so I spend my whole time watching them to make sure they don't cause any further damage to each other. The vet said it's normal and I know he's right but at the moment, as much as I love the, I just can't get any joy from them. I have no problems with the endless mess and toliet accidents but when it comes to biting each other and us it just worries me. Has anyone been in this situation? |

| How old are your pups??? Bailey and Charlie are brothers too and they fight. They are about nine months old now and I can say that it has gotten MUCH better....I know how you feel...it used to scare me to death and sometimes it was VERy hard to pull them apart and one or both would end up bleeding. I do believe they will outgrow it....it's been a long time since baily and charlie got into a bad one....it does tear your nerves up though...hang in there!

| Hey Michelle - thanks for the reply. They are 8 weeks old. I totally adore them and it's not like I regret having them but basically I'm just scared. It's good to hear that your babies grew out of it and do it less frequently now. At the moment I think they're trying to establish who's the boss!! |

I Love Thor Donating Member | Congrats on your new baby boys! They are so cute. The rough playing is normal (in my opinion) thats just what they do. you should be glad that they have each other to wear out...except, yorkies never run out of energy!!! I know you must be enjoying them so much. Good luck with all the training. You have double trouble!! Hannah |
