| Pethabitat We decided to get Happie some new treats and went to Pethabitat at Metropolis. Pethabitat also sells puppies!! They have more puppies than dog supplies! We were just seeing puppies and a shih tzu caught our eye. He was very cute pup. But the staff was manhandling him The staff person just lifted him as though he was some garbage bag and tossed it into the cage. But the sad part was that the cage did not have water in it. There was also a Yorkie around 5 months old. And he was BIG so was the price. We have a very respectful breeder in burnaby area who is selling a very cute yorkie pup for almost half the price what we saw in Pethabitat. This is ridiculous. We moved on and saw a malti-poo. It was crying to get out of the cage, jumping and barking and pleading to let it out. Out of curiosity we enquired the price and it was around 2000$. We were just shocked. They have a very filthy atmosphere and charge outrageous prices for pups. Will this ever stop? |

| Don't support places that sell puppies. Even the little bit that you spent on treats helps keep them open. I boycotted our local PetLand, along with many other community members, and they were forced to shut down. The only way we can stop these places is to not support them!
