| ***Tibbe Works For His Lunch!!!*** I haven't done this for a long time but today I put Tibbe's lunch kibble in an clean, empty, open 20 oz. Diet Coke bottle with the cap off & he has been working on getting his kibble out of that for the last 20+ minutes - chasing that bottle all over the den, kitchen & even into the living room. I used to do this a lot & he got so good at the technique of how to hit the bottle & sling it that he could get all the kibble out in far less than 10 minutes but he's lost some technique in the intervening months. But he remembers enough to know that once a piece or several pieces of kibble bounce out, look well wide of the space where it/they fell out as one or more pieces may just go far out. He has searched all over the den after each successful ejection, thus taking more time & getting in some good search/seek/hunt exercise. He just loves to have his meal this way. Used to, he would bring the empty bottle to me, lay it on the floor & bark for kibble to be put in it. He's happily still at it, mouth wide open in a smile as he bats it about, working for his lunch.

| What a great idea! Jax loved his Buster Cube but eventually chewed the parts so that they don't work correctly. Nice to have a no-cost alternative! |

| Yeah, you have to confiscate the bottle after each meal to wash & store it out of their reach. But there is an endless supply of new ones - just don't leave it down if they are chewers as the shards they can produce are potentially lethal. I don't leave Tibbe's down all the time - just put it in the kitchen by his bowl & if he's interested, he'll get it and bring it to me empty & demand I fill it. He loves it because it makes LOTS OF NOISE as it gets banged about & it's a challenge.

| Yeah, it's a fun thing to do when your nerves aren't frazzled(the NOISE) & you can sit & watch until all the kibble is gone so you can take up the bottle. But he can bat that bottle on the open end to cause it to flip over up in the air & empty a lot of kibble! Other times he just roles it around with his nose all over the floor. Rest of the time he's searching, searching, searching for possible outliers of kibble. He has a ball with it.

| We did this also. We use a water bottle and put his dry kibble in it, and he hits it and they roll out. Louie loves this game! when he is done he will bring the bottle and drop it at our feet. Too funny!
