Help please I found BJ with an Advil capsule she had bit the end off. I don't know if she licked or swallowed it but I called the emergency center and they said to give her a teaspoon of Peroxide to try to make her vomit. I don't know what to do. I am alone and she drank the peroxide like it was water. Anyone have experience with this kind of thing?

If he did not vomit call the vet back and tell them and ask what to try next. Advil can cause kidney damage rather quickly. Call the vet again.

I'd get a cab and take the dog to the vet. You can't risk waiting.

Capsules are generally time released medications. You really should take her to the vet to be checked out. I had to stop using the small trash baskets because my Gracie will get into them also. Some people buy the kind that have lids on them. They are very alert little dogs that want to investigate and taste everything.....just like a little child.

| Oh my...I am just sitting down for a minute, and seeing your post...I hope she is okay. How frightening...to not even know for sure is very scary. My best to you and BJ.
