Yorkie Yakker | sandy like a puppy again i had sandy spayed a month ago, she has recovered now and i find that she has a new lease for life..haha its like she is a puppy again even though she is 6 years old....she has also started getting her toys out her box an rolling over them on the floor...i think she is putting her scent on them again...anyone else noticed this when spayed? |

| Hello and welcome, sorry I can't help you, I had Miss Priss spayed at a little over 5 months and she acts just as full of energy as she ever did. But it sounds like your girl is feeling really great,,that is always good. Enjoy !!!!!

| No I have never noticed a change in behavior, but I have always had mine spay at a lot younger age... |

Yorkie Yakker | i love the way sandy is so happy....i have only had her a few months and i can not understand why the last owners never got her speyed as they never wanted to breed her...mind u they did'nt really treat her that good...but now she happy an gettting loads of love...xx |

Senior Yorkie Talker | My Rocky does the same thing, even though he isn't a Yorkie, he has been acting like a puppy again, running around and acting like a goof ball, lol. Rocky will be 5 on April 7th!! He is a Shih-Tzu.

| It's great that she is feeling so wonderful! She must know,"no more heat cycles!" I don't know about the other behavior. I have always had mine done in the first year but it sounds like she is having a ball! So glad you did this for her. |
