| Dog food help I've been feeding my two yorkies different brands of dry kibble... One is on Merrick's Before Grain; the other on Innova Small Bites. I wanted to transition the other one (Lily) to eat Before Grain, but every time she eats it, she has loose stools. But, she's ok on Innova. She had loose stools from Natural Balance as well. I think Lily just has a sensitive stomach. And, Happy (the one on Before Grain) prefers that over Innova. Happy's had UTI and bladder stone. Her bladder stone disappeared after about a month on Royal Canin Diet. Thank Goodness. When I first got the two, I kept changing their food to find the one they liked so, I like the fact that they're doing ok on these diets. And, I keep hearing that Innova has a new formula??? Any suggestions? |

| Mine is on royal canin yorkshire terrier. When we got her she was on royal canin, some kind of puppy, and did not touch it. I read on the bag that yorkies are fussier and the yorkie version is formulated more for their taste. Got the yorkie puppy variety and she ate it. She has been on the adult yorkie for a year now, but doesn't love it anymore. She grew accustomed to us adding boiled chicken to her food after a bout or two of loose stools when she was younger (we did chicken and rice and then when we back to the dog food we mixed the chicken in....our mistake!) NOW I think she only eats the dog food by accident. She won't go near it until we add boiled chicken breast, and once in a while boiled ground beef. She tries to get the chicken but we make it so tiny that she really can't NOT get the kibble too. Some days she finishes it, others not so much. The most kibble she will eat in a day is 1/2 cup with chicken, but she usually leaves kibble behind. She is 10 pounds SO, She has become Missy Fussy Eater....any ideas what foods they LOVE?? |

| Are you trying to change the food slowly because if you are not they will have tummy problems.

| Just my two cents Sounds like they each have seperate health issues when you try to change kibble, and they are both doing great on their individual foods... I wouldn't change anything.

| I decided to keep it separate for now. But, maybe in few months, change to another food that both will do well on. Thanks everyone |
