Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Dropping back in to say 'hi from Tallulah Bee and Me! I've been away from YT for quite some time -- just needed a break. But I have missed hearing about all the good things happening here. Update on Tallulah -- she is thriving. After several months of constant diarrhea and upset tummy, medication for all kinds of parasites and every medical test short of surgery all with negative results, I was beside myself with worry. Tried the home-cooked chicken and rice for a couple of months so I knew exactly what was in her food to no avail. we decided since the only thing that controlled the diarrhea was Albon, so she was on two daily doses for quite some time. Her vet also suggested trying her on Royal Canin PV (potato and venison). We were able to gradually wean her off the Albon, and she has been doing quite well. She still gets diarrhea if she eats anything other than her special food or if she gets upset, and still needs Albon to help her settle down, but that's happened so little, we haven't had to get a refill in several months! Everyone who visits our home knows that feeding Tallulah contraband is grounds for lifetime banishment, so things are pretty much under control. Fortunately, she likes her PV kibble so much, we can use it as treats. Only problem there is that the pieces are pretty big so I have to cut them in half. Not a big price to pay for a happy and healthy dog, I think. Housebreaking is still our biggest challenge so we pretty much confine our romping to the kitchen and the yard, and save the carpeted areas for snuggle time. And I wish I could help her like people a little more -- she loves her daytime parents at Yorkie Camp and all dogs, but doesn't want anything to do with my family and friends. But all in all things are great and I'm so happy I found my little Tallulah Bee. And, of course, I'm so thankful for the knowledge and support I've gotten from so many of you. Life is really busy right now so I'm still not going to be very active for a while. Just wanted to let you know we're still on planet earth. Here's a shot of Tallulah in her love bug costume for her Valentine's Day card. She's a very happy little dog EXCEPT when I make her wear silly stuff. |

| I have a Tallulah Bee too! She's napping in the sun right now, but I'm sure she would say hello.
