Storms I pray that everyone that lives in the storms path are all safe and cozy with furbabies curled up on their laps.

I had hoped we would never see another one like Joplin. This spring weather isn't starting out very well.

We had quite a scare (Jackson County Georgia)... sirens and predictions... took the Yorkies and the cats to the basement. They were so good...For 30 minutes they didn't bark, meow, hiss or chase... Just sat close and still. Very proud of them. But we were some of the lucky ones. Could see where rivers of water flowed in the yard and is still trying to drain away, but no real damage of any kind.

Last April one of the tornadoes hit about 2 miles from our house and the little town was ruined. There have been 3 other ones that have hit 1 1/2 - 2 miles from my house. Since we have nowhere to go but in the 1/2 bath downstairs I am in the process of trying to decide which company I'm going with to install an underground shelter for me and my husband and our 4 little furbutts. I am also thinking very seriously about having mine microchipped. Words cannot express how terrible I feel for the people and pets that have lost their lives or are lost and the families whose lives were affected by this terrible tragedy.
