| Is this jealousy? I will be sitting on the couch and one of my daughters will come sit in my lap and Link comes and nudges his way in between us. Then my DH will be hugging me or just loving on me and Link will nudge his way in between us and sugar us to death. Needless to say no one in this house can get close without him getting in the middle of it...is it jealousy? He has never been aggressive about it he just sugars us to death.

| I think it could just be wanting to be a part of the action. My boys are that way.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Oh I so know where you are coming from! KS is the exact same way with us. If all 3 of us are on the bed together and I go in to kiss my husband, she works her way right in the middle of it. I wasn't paying good attention once and she was licking our smooching mouths before I knew it! Tee hee! I guess it was her way of getting in on the action. She always thinks she has to be the center of attention....and she is!

| My Vivi does that too. I always thought it was a little bit of passive guarding.

| He just wants to be in on the affection and attention. My dog before this one could be sound asleep on another floor and I swear if my husband and I would hug in the kitchen he would be able to sense it and be down the steps in a heartbeat jumping up at our legs barking until we would pick him up and put him in the middle for a group hug. I would tease him a lot, I would say Momma's kissing Daddy and no matter where or what he was doing he would be at our feet in a nano second. Some dogs are just attention hogs and want to be a part of any attention or affection dispensed in their presence |
