| We do take Bailey with us quite a bit. But when we go out of town, depending on where and if we have to fly, he stays with a nice lady who keeps small dogs. Bailey loves it there and is very well taken care of us when we're gone. We don't have to leave him very often, but the few times we have, we feel very comfortable with her taking care of him. |

| I do train my dog. But she is my hobby. If I wanted to travel to places that do not allow dogs I would not have gotten one. I only allow her to rule my life as much as I want her to. |

| I like that comment and change the "her" to "him". I try to let him know that it's ME that's in charge, but, I'm not so sure I do a good job of it. LOL But yours is a good come back to some of my family who think I am the crazy dog lady . Who ME???? I just smile, show my teeth and remember not to growl, it reflexs badly on the dog, or at least on his training. LOL. Me I don't care.

I'd have to join too...haven't been away from the babies since the last kiddo left home...7 years, I think? Missed out on some wonderful trips to the cabin in the mountains, condos at the beach, cruises to other countries...not that it matters! But, mine are only spoiled enough...not too much!!!
