| Will his coat change anymore???? I was just looking at Link and admiring his colors...Im so amazed at how much he has changed since i first got him. I shaved all his frizzy puppy hair off about a week ago so he looks so different now. Well my question is will his color change anymore or will he stay this color? He is 6 1/2 months old.. Im really hoping that it doesn't change anymore... i really love the color he is now.

| Since he is so young he could change several times but aren't they the sweetest babies ever? Prissy has us wrapped around her little paw.

| Princess was groomed today & has 'changed' color again but getting her hair cut. She just turned 2 last month. Her first puppy cut that started to reveal her steel blue-ish color was very shocking compared to the black, but the changes don't seem so drastic now.

| Depends on the dog and the breeding lines, but I'm guessing you will continue to see changes. My boys are 2.5 and 3 years old and they are continuously changing. I thought I wanted them to stay certain colors, but I keep falling in love with their changes.

| Ziva kept a grey head with the little black stripe between her eyes until just before she turned two, it faded to cream than turned gold -It was amazing it happened so fast. |

| Gracie is a year and nine months old and she is still changing in color. She went from dark to light and is going dark again. |

| Brody will be 2 in March and he has not stopped changing since we got him 9 months ago. His head was a pale cream with silver and dark grey stripes, with puppy black on the longer hair, but now the pale cream is changing to the most glorius golden tan. His dark blue is silvering in places, but he has at least one spot on his back that looks like the dark blue is coming back where the hair had silvered. His head has almost no blue left...just a small bit toward the ends that are growing out. We are just wondering what color is next. Mia will also be 2 in March and was born black and tan but went golden before we got her 7 months ago. She is a beautiful color, but seems to be getting a darker tan behind the golden champagne blonde. We are actually hoping she stays blonde...the color is so beautiful. Her tummy skin is easiest to see, of course, 'cuz less hair, and it still has the blue mask, so we are also curious about her, although it does not appear than she can make black pigment in her hair anymore. Yorkies are like canine 'mood rings' I guess...the colors are just part of their charm! Link is adorable in his new style, though!!!

| He could still change. Riot was 3 in December and I just noticed the other day how silvery his back is getting whereas it was mostly dark before with some shine to it in the light

My furkids Donating Member | Sadie was black with the gold points when I got her....her face turned gold and her body stayed black...Lillie was a little fluff ball...black...very little tan and the roots on her head were white! she looked bald!! LOL...her face turned a light tan and her body is steel color....Bentley is only 6 1/2 months old. his head is a white silver and his body black. I can see silver breaking through..I think he may end up the color of Lillie...I am giving them their baths and clips tomorrow...it will be interesting to see what he looks like after clipping off his puppy hair.

| I think it all depends... My male is 3.5 years and is lightening up and I have been seeing more and more gold throughout his saddle area. However, my female has stayed super dark and has changed very little since she was a puppy.
