| Tape on puppies ears? Can someone tell me what taping a Yorkie pups ears (they are standing up straight) is for?

| If a yorkie puppies ears are floppy some people tape them to try and teach them to stand up. I just let Callie's stay floppy and I love it

| Some also argue that it's healthier...however, I'm not so sure that's a super valid statement. Keeping the ears clean, dry and all that does just as good of a job.

| People also say dogs with floppy ears are more prone to ear infections too but Callie is 4 and has never had one.

| Well, after doing a search on the breeder who's pups these are, it turns out that she has had issues with ear mites and genetic issues. I'm moving on. Thank goodness that I am patient.

| I never taped either of mine and Roscoe and Sukie's ears stood up by themselves around 3 months old.
