| Matting on silky hair solution I have two little girls. Ally will be three years old soon and is just over 3lbs. She is a total Diva when it comes to combing her silky hair. She will yelp even before the comb gets to her hair. Tia will turn two years old in Jan and is apprx 6.5lbs. She has a cotton coat and matted terribly every single day. I gave her a puppy cut in preparation of winter and her wearing sweaters. Well, I just tried Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny on their hair and it seems to be working. I have curly hair and put it on mine so I don't have frizz, one big fur ball! lol Ally's hair looked a little oily after I put it on. I combed it thru and put her sweater on. The next day, I changed her sweater. She had the normal matting and tangles, but they combed out wonderfully and her hair looks shinny, silk,y and smooth. I didn't put as much on Tia, but her hair is so shinny too. I may have found the solution for my girls. I've put it on their hair wet and dry and both seem to work. Has anyone tried Super Skinny before? Super SkinnyŽ Serum |

| I've never tried it on Rio but it sounds similar to Pet Silk which is what I do use. Is it for humans or pets? Pet Silk is made specifically for pets by the same company that makes BioSilk for human hair. Not really sure what the difference is.

| Hi There Pet Silk Silk Sheen or Pet Silk Serum would work really well for matting. I have a yorkie with cotton coat and it worked well for the breeder i gave sample to also. I would definitely recommend trying. BTW i am selling them at the wholesale rate in case anyone is interested in buying. Check my posting in the sales section. |

| I really like the way the matts and tangles just comb right out. Although what I use is for humans, I love it on my Diva. I put the Super Skinny on both girls after their bath on Tuesday and their hair is still shinny and tangles comb right out. I may have to try the Pet Silk Serum. |

| Pet Silk Serum is just like the serum for human hair but a bit more lighter. It is also made with natural oils. I am not really sure if human grade products can be used on dogs as their skin is much more sensitive than ours. |

| I have always used human oils on my dogs, especially pitbulls after a bath or treatment with D.E.-Earth, all with no problem. My favourite is Morrocan Oil, I use less than a pea size for my yorkie and about 2-3pea sizes for my Pitbull. AMAZING STUFF. It's $40 for the larger size and last 6mnths - year depending on how much I use it on my own hair lol. Idk much about Pet Silk but see it on here lots&it's probably a great product from what I've read!

| I love the pet silk serum... and it smells really good! I use it on my yorkie, yorkie/pom and shih tzu and they all have great results. Never thought of using moroccan oil on them, BUT I do use it on myself. For humans it is AWESOME!! |
