Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Yay! So glad to see you back on! I was wondering the other day how you and Emmie Shea were getting along. So glad to hear it's going great and that she is doing good on her potty pad training! Go Emmie! My Katie Scarlett will tear up the pads too (even in the holder) ONLY IF you leave her alone in a room where she cannot get out. I think she does it out of distress. I left her in the den with the door closed the other day so I could brush my teeth. I normally let her go everywhere with me, but she hadn't pottied and I didn't want her to have an accident. Well I was gone like 2 seconds and came back to the pad tore to shreds. So for us, she only does it when she is anxious. I just honestly think she doesn't like being alone. But, sometimes when we are in a room with her she will walk over and start pawing at the corner of the pad. I immediately say a sharp 'eh eh' or 'no no' and she knows right then to stop and walks away. I am hoping this is a puppy stage thing and it gets better. Good luck! I hope you get lots of good advice! Sorry I couldn't help more.

| We use washable pee-pads. Check out Cathy's Teddy Bumpkins. Affordable and very well made. 107barney I think.
