| sherpa carrier What size sherpa carrier would be best for a yorkie puppy? I see the small fits up to 8lbs but the medium jumps up to 16lbs. What size would be best if you wanted to put a lightweight blanket and a small toy in with the puppy? Would the medium give a puppy too much space? |

| I guess it would depend on how big your puppy will get, not just in weight but in size. As my ZoE is long and tall, so I would go with the medium for her. Unless your puppy is estimated to be very small, I would probably go with the medium too. I got a small in a purse/handbag carrier when ZoE was just a few months old and later regreted it as she grew too big for it and I ended up then having to buy another in the larger size later.

| if you are planning on using it for flying make sure your dog can stand up and move around in it. I bought Teegy the medium Bergan carrier and couldn't be happier. Why just this weekend I made him a little down filled mattress for it, as he often pops in it for a wee nap. |

| Thanks I was thinking that a medium would be best also. Especially since so many of you yorkie experts have explained that there's no true way of predicting how large a furball can get. I don't want to end up buying two bags. |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | What is a sherpa carrier? I guess I need to Google that. I know we will be flying with Katie Scarlett in the future one day. I need to be thinking about what type of carrier we will need. It's way off, but I better get prepared.
