| Jet Blue Flight Boston, MA to Oakland, CA Guinness and I are back in Boston now. We were very sad to leave my boyfriend and California... Both flights with Jet Blue went well. I couldn't really keep Guinness under the seat since he was getting really nervous. So on the way to CA, I let him sit on my lap for almost 4 hours. I covered him with my jacket. Then one flight attendent asked me if he were in the bag and the bag is on my lap. So I told her, "no". Then she asked me to put him in the carrier and open as many zipper as I want, and put him on my lap with the carrier. So That is what I did a little bit over 2 more hours. He was fine with it. On the way back, I just tried to put him under the seat for 20-30 minutes before the take off, and it didn't go well.. so.. I put the carrier on my lap and it was all set. We slept through the whole flight. He didn't have any accident on the both flights. Good Job Guinness!!! I went to bathroom with him to see if he would pee but.. it didn't happen. Oh my.. the bathroom is really small... I had difficult time before the first flight, I wanted him to go pee but he refused. I think he was very nervous. But when I was leaving CA, he peed a couple times at airport parking lot. Oh he pooped too. So I was very happy about that. Now he is sleeping on my bed as he is restless from an exciting trip!

| It is quite an experience to fly with these little ones. I have taken KimMee to South Korea and back several times. That is 22 hours of traveling for us. Twice I had an empty seat next to me which helped alot cause she could be on the seat with the zipper open and she liked that. One time she was very noisy on take off and people where commenting on the unhappy baby and looking around. I just started looking around with them as if I didn't know where that noise was coming from! I have found that being pee pad trained helped as I could but that down on the rest room floor and she would use it. It is like traveling with a toodler. Glad you are back home and taking a rest. Sorry you had to leave BF behing though. |

| I'm really glad that you posted your flying experience with Guiness. We are going to fly with Rowdy this summer and I'm looking for all the tips I can get. Rowdy is only 4 lbs and he will usually stay in his carrier just fine - but the sounds and feel of the airplane worry me that he might be upset. If you have any more words of advice, please let me know. We can't fly Jet Blue though, because it doesn't fly out of Austin.
