| Outside trained dog going on inside grass patch I bought a pup head before Callie's surgery thinking its like grass so she would use it no problem well that didn't happen. I put her on it and said go pee pee (she normally listens to that and goes) well it did work and then she got very excited and started kneading at it and them going in circles and then sat on it and that was it. Has anyone gotten there outside trained dog to go on a grass patch inside? If you did how?

| Does it feel like grass? Does it have anything in it to smell like a place to potty? I know the puppy pads do (not smellable to people), and I've seen stuff at the pet store you can spray to make it smell like a potty place.

| Yes a spray that goes on the "grass" to make it smell like a potty will help. They need to recognize that it's a toilet. Be careful with the grass stuff, I've heard some nasty reviews that it stinks after they start using it, so make sure you follow the directions closely to keep it clean. I use a different indoor toilet system and love it. so I don't have much experience with it, but the spray should definitely help.

| I am curious about this myself! We have a screened in porch, uncarpeted, and we don't use it at all, especially in the winter. Last year the snow came in thru the screen and we had probably almost a foot of snow in there and Jackson would go pee/poop in there when it was so deep outside and during the blizzard, lol. But usually he won't go in places like that, I've tried to get him to. But I have always wondered if I put some sort of patch outside on the porch, it's still "outside" technically, if he would go during storms and such.

| Okay I apologize for this but you can also (wear gloves OMG ewww) get some of her pooh out the yard and put it on there she'll go both 1 & 2 on there after that. Yeah and that's free too, the sprays don't always work. They may work for Cali I bought the scented puppy potty pads to try to get Scoobers to potty on pads when I first got him anyways he just shredded them and finally someone suggested I put his pooh on the litter box-I did and he started using that.Well I put his ooh on it left it there a bit, then flushed it but the scent of it stayed on it so yeah.
