| Tibbe's yet to balk going outside but our first frost hasn't yet occurred, though is in forecast for coming week. Fall is here!

| Mina hasnt really figured out cold yet, tomarrow morning will be a first for her. She isnt crazy about rain, but has figured out that when wet stuff is falling from above, she needs to trot out there do her thing and get back in. She just does NOT want to use a potty pad,the brothers and sister dont use a pottie pad. I keep one in her crate, just incase she changes her mind and she thinks that it is a rug. |

| I can tell when its colder because thats when Callie prefers to be outside more but I think her leg is hurting her because she is not running and playing as much as she has in falls before cant wait for it to be all better.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | So far Katie Scarlett loves going out rain, shine, or snow. I need to get her a raincoat and a winter coat. If it's really cold, I do not let her stay out but a few minutes since we are pad training. I just let her out in our yard to play for a few minutes. We'll see if she stays this way....LOL.

| We took a mini trip up to Eureka and Crescent City and just love the north country. I love all the pine trees surrounding your area and would love being up there right now to enjoy winter weather. Hot cocoa tastes so much better in colder weather.

| We have two potty pad trained here Elvis is not one of the two...I keep trying, but now we have baby. But honestly cold here is freezing at 48 degrees! Elvis came to me from DE so one would think he'd be okay with the cold (honestly I don't think Elvis ever went out door much at all prior to me based on his behavior... Anyways every morning I turn on the dryer to warm the cloths that were in the wash while we slept, so the dryer vent is blowing warm aiir right onto the patio and I know gross but Elvis usually doe #1 & #2 on the cement when the grass is wet or frosty... Going to build an enclosure for winter I suppose, Derik (the boy/insig. other when it comes to dog stuff )wasn't accepting of Scoobers being litter trained when first met but Scoobers was literally terrified of grass-pup mill rescue. Not sure he'd go for potty pad in house again...maybe potty patch in garage...bye bye man cave Neener! Quote:
Next time you MUST stop in the Trinidad/Patrick's Point area even just to pulll off 101 and drive along scenic drive, Patrick's Point State Park is an easily 20 mns go through to a weekend camp out. If you really want a sense of Humboldt County check out Garberville (cute town on 101) Ferndale (just off 101 by 10 minutes the Victorian village) and Arcata my 'hometown' definitely circle the plaza! In southern to Northern order. All dog friendly!!!! Then on to Trinidad/Patrick's Point. Edit note: we were doing the midnight potty which s at the coldest time here too.
