| Sadie is driving me nuts today. She's soo hyper and I can't walk her until daddy comes home because he wants to go too really bad. She is pacing the floor and goes back and forth to the back door and rings her bell over and over and over and she doesn't have to pee she's just being her usual spastic self. It's about to get on my last nerve!!! LAY DOWN SADIE!! Just relax, chill out, it's Sunday be quiet and take er' easy. You don't need outside you'll just bark all day. Ugg do your little ones ever just drive you nuts sometimes?? I love this girl but CALM DOWN!! Just another day with Miss Priss Sadie in the Defo House. |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | LOL! Well, being only a Yorkie mommy for a little over a week, I haven't experienced this feeling yet, but I'm sure it happens to everyone. Katie Scarlett is so clingy. She thinks she has to be glued to my side at all times. I am working on walking out of the room and leaving her for small amounts of time, but it's gonna take some work. She is doing better. I just wish she would be a little itty bit more independent at times...for example, when I'm in the restroom or eating. She has to be right there with me. I'm just being as patient as I can right now.

| Drive me Crazy ? Heck yes ! (With you I don't have to worry about what I say. LOL you know how much I love my Yorkies) A few weeks ago I fell and have been gimping around on crutches. So me taking them for walks is out of the question. They are used to a two mile walk, at least once a day. My Grandsons have been walking them every other day, but not long walks like I do. The doggies have been fussing and crabby with each other. Barking at petty things and constantly banging in and out of the doggy door. Which means I have to hobble out on the porch to watch them. Not getting enough exercise has effected me too. I get down in the dumps and wonder if things will ever get back to normal. I have found my self getting irritated and teary eyed over silly things. The pain is better, but I am impatient and want to be ok right now. Ginny Joy just came in missing her bow, with twigs in her beard and something really stinky on her neck. I can't walk the whole big yard to see what she found to roll in. I can't carry them on crutches and the puppies know it. When they are doing something fun and bad, they pretend they don't hear me call the first time. And of course their training is in the toilet. Now I have get Ginny in the sink and wash the stinky off. Drive me crazy , yes I just told Ginny she was never going outside again! LOL hugs Teresa

| Oh yes I have had those days. Most of the time, he's truly a joy, but sometimes he can surely annoy the crap out of me. Particularly on days that he's sick but doesn't "feel" sick, and I have to keep him on the down low -- he drove me NUTS for about two weeks keeping him inside and not doing any walks, runs, or any major activity. He would find every little thing to chew on, or just bark at me, and plain just driving me insane.

| LOL, YES! Mine do this too. It is especially bad on Saturday morning when I don't work. They think it's all about them when I get up and they want to "go" for a ride. If I don't have any errands planned, I just take them out to the garage, put them in the car, get in with them sit for a few seconds, then say, THAT'S IT! We're home! Give them a little treat for "riding" so good, them come back in the house! LOL. Then they are happy campers and come in so proud like they just had the best ride of their life. Sometimes, I just carry Mylee out to check the mail and come back in with her. That too seems to satisfy her need for adventure.

| Yes, Oh Lord yes! My downfall was letting mine learn my routine. I go to the bathroom before I let them out for last call. The minute the toilet flushes they go nuts. And after dinner I play on the computer for a couple hours. The minute I get up from my chair they know it's time to go out and start in. And Adie has taken responsibility for make sure or little blind/deaf shih tzu knows it's time to go outside. She runs and gets her barking all the way to and from. She runs beside her and bumps her in the right direction if she strays. It is cute but All five of them bark at their highest pitch and loudest volume. LOL. |

| Maybe a couple of walks a day would help run off some of the excess energy? I know Gracie loves to go for walks at least twice a day. She is much easier to get along with when she does. I can't walk as fast as she would like me to because of a back problem so I have my daughter take her out for a faster and longer walk when she comes home. I also play fetch with her inside the house. I sit in the living room and throw her ball through to the kitchen. A couple of walks a day and a couple of games of fetch seem to make her a happy and less demanding girl. |

| Thundershirt... My little guy is like that too. Always hyper, barks at any strange noise or just if he's excited, won't leave me alone! Haha. A couple of weeks ago, we bought him a thundershirt hoping it would calm him down. This thing is amazing!!! He's totally calm and lovable when he's wearing it. It's always hard having visitors over because of him- he especially doesn't like my dad. Barks and growls the whole time he's here. Not now!! The thundershirt has helped my family soo much! I know other people who haven't had our luck, but for us, it's great. Worth a try!! |
