| I wish the market for them would slow WAY down though. However, with cute faces, perfect sizes, nonshedding, totally packed full of personality... who couldn't just LOVE these li'l cuties!

| Yes, Yorkies are very special. I can honestly say they are my breed of choice. But will also admit I can fall in love with almost any dog. My sister has adorable poodles, my other sister has Yorkies and a sweet Chihuahua. My sons have hunting dogs and an Aussie. Hubby has a Lab. Neighbors have Doxies, GS, Dobies, Begall, Akita, Greyhound, Frenchy, English bull dog, Pug, Newfie and verity of mixes. Of the ones that I know well, I could see them all as part of my family.

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | We have had all types of dogs growing up. Yorkies just make me smile. So much packed into such a small package. I doubt the market for them will slow down.

| I couldn't have said it better! I have had several other breeds of dogs in my life, but there is just something about a yorkie! I love my little Cpt. Jack!

YT 1000 Club Member | I have and continue to do as much reading/research on our Favorite Breed, and find that there are many commonalities in the Terriers. WAY back when Yorkies and others were "constructed", it was important that when tasked with their "duty" of ferreting out varmints, that they did so without human intervention. ie: "set it and forget it" This "feature" about Terriers in general, is what I think to be the cause of much of the notice about their personalities. We as humans appreciate that others are different than we, and subsequently, appreciate that in your Dogs as well. I do see that from the information I've accrued, that Yorkies seem to have a bit of an edge when it comes to Personality, which equates to individually. This, though inadvertent, is what makes them SO special.
