| That is in no way normal and you should take him to a vet to see if there is an underlying problem. |

| I don't think that's normal for a yorkie. We've had Oz for over three months and I've never noticed any hair anywhere, and we have hardwood, so it would be easy to spot. Even after a bath and when he's brushed he doesn't seem to lose any hair. I haven't seen any pics of your pup, but maybe he's not a pure yorkie or perhaps he's not well if he's shedding or losing hair? If you're positive he's 100% yorkie, I would definitely get him to the vet. Maybe skin or allergy problems?

| No. They are non-shedding dander-less dog thus they are refereed to as hypoallergenic dogs. This is often confusing for some whom then beleive that people with a doog allergy (which is to their secretions saliva and feet scent glad) that they will not be allergic to these dogs. However Yorkie's do loos a normal amount of hair consistent with that of humans-especially when brushed or bathed just like you do when you shampoo & brush. 1. How old is your Yorkie? 2. How often are you brushing? 3. What are you shampoo-ing with try a hypoallergenic tearless baby shampoo for now see if it works for 3 weeks to solve the issue. 4. What are you feeding? 5. Is there any balding patches-what is the condition of the skin? Pictures and a show of the amount of hair are critical in understanding if this is a medical issue or a simple solve it problem by proper care and deduction.

| My Schnorkie looses a lot of hair during brushing and shampooing and he's a hybrid of a Yorkie and miniature schnauzer, both are non-shedding breeder, but schnauzers will easily loose their double coat, however he was also diagnosed with his allergies when addressing the "shedding"
