| What to use for fleas? Hello all. We are having some serious flea issues. We were previously using Vectra 3D, and it doesnt seem to be working very well. So my vet tech has recommened Comfortis...Now I did use this in the past with Roxie, but was wondering what you all use, and what really does work? I dont want Foxy to be miserable , but I also dont want to spend a heap of money on something that does not work. Thanks!

| I use Advantage multi, it is for fleas. intestinal parasites, and heartworm. It is the liquid in the tube you put on their back between their shoulders. Works great.

| We use Frontline Plus and have never seen a flea. Not sure if that is because the Frontline is effective or because of the area we live in.

| I use comfortis also. Make sure they get some food with it. At least that's what my vet recommends. |

YT 3000 Club Member | Have you heard of flea busters, I had it applied to my condo the inside almost a year ago and I have not had to even use any frontline for almost a year. The powder is applied tp pet beds, carpets, furniture, throw rugs and it is good for a year unless you shampoo your carpets or it gets wet, best money I ever spent |

| I use frontline top spot here. But I recommend going with what your vet sells/ recommends because they know what works in your area.

| We use advantage for dogs and the cat version for our cats and have never had a problem with it not killing the fleas

| Frontline Plus.... and now there is a generic version that is half the price available at WalMart. I have tried a gazillion products and this has worked the best for me. Frontline also repels ticks and I believe mosquitos! |

| I use Comfortis for my 4; it works so much better than anything else I've tried. Frontline wasn't working, and I hated the idea of the spot treatment on them, getting all over my bed, furniture, and on me.
