| =[ So my family and I planned a cruise to the Bahamas a few months back and we'll be leaving next friday. Now for my baby Bentley, I planned for my father-in-law to watch him that week, and he was okay with it until today. He's planning to go away also that same week. So while I was stressed out all day today trying to decide what to do, I thought of having a friend of mine watch him and he agreed to it. I just got a call from him saying he's going to the Poconos. I am so lost and confused, I just want to cry. I don't know if PetHotels are trustworthy enough or even cheap. Please leave me some advice. Thank you!!

| You could board him for the week? I don't know... I haven't ever had to leave my pups for more than one night. Good luck, I'm sure you will be able to find someone you trust or a great place to board them.

| Do you have anyone else that might be able to take care of him? Perhaps someone that may be able to stay your home so at least he has some normalcy while your are away? Good luck.

| Camp bow wow has a few locations in NY. I use them and they are great. Really like the camper cams! Not especially cheap, though. My two love it there and come home and crash from playing so hard! |

| I just contacted camp bow wow and they said Bentley has to be neutered. And he isn't. By any chance would you know of any other camps I can contact?

No Longer a Member | With him not being neutered you may have to hire someone to come to your home (dog walker/pet sitter). You can tell them how many times you need them to check in on him 3-7 times per day, and how much exercise he needs. I think this is a better plan anyway because you pup is more comfortable in your home rather than at some strangers house. Just an idea...I'm sure if you Google Dog walkers Queens, NY you'll get some hits. |

| Getting someone to walk him from your home will be your best bet, I think. I have checked into the pet hotel at petsmart, but the dog has to be neutered there, also. If it comes down to the wire, check with your vet. My vet is awesome and the techs take great care of their boarded animals. Good luck! |

| How old is Bentley? Did you check to see if your vet has boarding facilities?

| I have a friend who dog sits in Albany, is that too far? She has Yorkies herself so she is very familiar and your pup would have a great time too! Let me know if you want her info! |
