| Crazy after bath - so funny! I gave Wally a bath tonight, as he is going on a road trip with my DH to visit my parents over the weekend. For at least 30 minutes after his bath, he was running around in circles, chasing his tail, sliding around on the floor on his back in circles, and just plain going nuts. He does this after every bath - and it's freaking HYSTERICAL. Why does he behave like that? I know it's normal dog behavior, but I'd love to know the reasoning behind it.

| Probably still feels wet and is trying to dry off....we don't have carpeting, so our boys rub against the furniture....against our wishes....but try stopping them.....not gonna happen |

| Clover does that too! Rubbing himself all over the carpet and rolling around! I do think its to get dry, because when i blow dry him in winter he doesn't do it. |

| Tigger does the same thing! We put a towel down for him and he run and slides all over it to try and get dry. The couch is also another spot he loves to use! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Ozzie knows that he will have a clean sheet on his bed following a bath so as soon as I let him out of a towel, he will run straight for it and then throw himself all over it! Now that we have a big flat pillowy bed in the livingroom for the cat, sometimes he will make a beeline for THAT bed first! Let's just say the cat is not amused ... |

| Sophie does this too. Our friend who's a vet tech told us they do it to get their scent back. Dogs love being smelly and a bath washes it all away so they'll rub over anything with their scent to smell "normal" again It's a lot of fun to watch!! |
