YT Addict | Abby's hair I am trying to get a good conditioner for her hair. She is 4 months old. On her body it has a slight wave and mostly scraggly looking but soft and silky. On the top of her head she has a white very cottony feel. I do not know what kind of hair she will have as I realize she is a puppy. When I try to get some conditioners it will ask for hair type. I do not know how to answer and I don't want to get the wrong kind. Does anyone know how to tell what kind of hair she has? |

| This is what was recommended to me by a friend that has 2 yorkies. The brand is "four paws",I found it at Petco. "Magic Coat" shampoo, puppy tearless,"Magic Coat" natural oatmaeal conditioner. The leave in conditioner/detangler is Perfect Coat, I spray it into my hand and smooth onto her coat. These are not the best, but I am using them until I make up my mind as to what I want to use. They dont have to be ordered online and I had to have something in the house when I brought Mina home. I am sure that I will find something out there at some point that I like more. Hopefully someone with more experience will post and we will both get to learn something. |

| They all smell good but not to much perfume. I have asthma and allergys so there are alot of sents that I am allergic to. Neither the shampoo or conditioner left my hands feeling dry, that was a good sign to me that they were ok. There is alcohol in them so I will be doing some research. If you find something that you like better, please post it. |

| Conditioner for abby Allie also 4 months has the same coat as abby. I wash her in johnson baby shampoo as it also kills fleas because she is to small right noe for flea meds..it seems to work really good. Don't know if the baby conditioners will work or not so anyone out here know :d |

YT Addict | Abby is 4 months old and her vet has her on revolution flee med. It is for pups up to 5 pounds. Maybe you should look into that. Do you know what kind of coat Allie will have. Someone told me silkie which is a lot easier to care for. She never has mats. But now with this cotton head if that is what her coat will be I can easily see how hard it will be to care for. |

| Allie has the exact same hair as your Abby, her roots are silver.. the breeder said she will be a blue & gold. Her (Allie) hair looks so bad the day after i shampoo her & she has no tangles at all. I t just looks like i never brush her & i use a hair brush & enjoy the fly away hair for a little bit. She don't have fleas so the johnson baby shampoo works.. Took her to the vet and she gained 1 lb. now she weight a whole 3.4 lbs.;0} |
