| What color will they be About what age do you know what color your yorkie will be. I know there all black and tan at first but when would they turn if they were going to. Is it early in age or like a year down the road? |

| Well, mine started turning at like 3 months, but I don't think they are all alike in that department! Sometimes, I think, it takes up until two years for them to finish. But, I believe you will see them start to turn at around 3-4 months. There are people on here that know a lot more about this than I do.

| All yorkkies are different on when they start changing colors. My female started changing at 3 months but I think that is a little younng in comparrison to most.

| My yorkie started changing at about 2 1/2, 3 months. But I do think that they dont have there full color till 2 years, no sure though so i agree, check out the posty on colors.

| my maxi has been changing little by little every day since i first got her. she was mostly black and tan, but now i am beginning to see lighter gold and way more white on her head and slowly down her back. it's so interesting to see what will happen since i've never seen her parents.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | They start at just a few months old but continue to change up to 2 years of age. Chester had finished breaking by 1 year. Gracie's top of her head was snow white till a couple of months ago and she's turned to tan and she's over 1 1/2 years. Rebel is 6 months with a gray head but he's starting to break tan there, too.
