| The big day is coming... I scheduled Gizmo's neuter on June 10th. I'm a little bit nervous. I've never had a male dog so I don't quite know what to expect. Any tips would be helpful, and lots of prayers please. So nervous.

| Gizmo will be fine. After Sammy was neutered (he also had stomach surgery at the same time for an obstruction), he was quiet when he came home. He also was wearing a pain patch. I blocked off the living room so he couldn't run around and try to jump on things. After 2 days he was back to his usual self. You just have to keep Gizmo from jumping. Sending prayers for Gizmo!! Good luck!! |

| My 2 boys did great when they were neutered. They came home and acted like nothing happened. It was more difficult when my female Tessie was spayed. She had to stay overnight and had a bandage around her to keep her from pulling out her stitches. My Sassy will be spayed on June 24. Good Luck just give him a lot of extra love.

| He'll be up and ready to go the next morning! That's how Chippy was. He slept a bunch after I brought him home from the vet, but by morning, he was his old self again.

| Gizmo will be fine. I know you can't help but worry, you wouldn't be a good mom if you didn't. The hardest thing with Bogie when he was neutered was, in 24 hrs he felt so good, it was hard to keep him from running and jumping like a wild man. The incision for a neuter is so small, they feel better quickly.
