| You need a good shampoo, conditioner and detangler and a good brush. I use minksheen shampoo, pantene conditioner and Chris Christensen Ice on Ice detangler. I use the Chris Christensen wooden pin brush. The butter comb is good to have also

| I would recommend that you invest in a good quality pin brush - I use Madan brushes but you can also use Chris Christensen brushes. A fellow YTer sells the Madan brushes (toplinepet.com) - Mimimomo is her screen name. I've ordred brushes from her a few times and she's awesome! Matting is often dependent on the type of coat your furaby has. Cotton coats tend to matt more easily than silky coats (I have one of each and Bullet, my cotton coat is definitely more prone to matting). How often are your brushing your furbaby? You should be thoroughly brushing at least once a day. I also use PetSilk liquid silk serum on the shoulders, hindquarters, chest/armpits on wet hair (after a bath) which really helps a lot. Good luck!

YT Addict | I use a dime size of Herbel Essence leave in conditioner, $5 at walmart, and Aquage Silkening Oil Treatment $19 at a professional hair salon, on Tikka. I think the petsilk serum is the same as aquage silkening oil treatment, so whichever is cheaper! I don't have any stores up her that sell that kind of stuff, so far Tikka's hair has been amazing!!
