| Is it fair for Maggie to go swimming while Buster is recuperating from his LP surgery? They both love to swim but the surgeon doesn't want Buster to swim for at least two weeks and then he will decide depending on how well Buster has healed. Swimming is a great rehabilitation exercise on a limited basis after the incision has healed. I will not swim until he is able to. But do I hold Maggie back and not let her go?

| If Buster is staring at the pool while Maggie is in it, then that could be a problem. If he is in his house in the crate, then there is absolutely no reason why she can't swim. There is also no reason for you to skip it.

I asked the surgeon about crating him, he said I really didn't need to as long as someone went outside with him when he went to potty. I thought they needed to be crated. Just the same I will probably crate him when he can't be watched.
