| I was looking for Love and I found it! Hi all, I have had dogs in my life for many years but for my birthday received my first Yorkie. My other dog is a westie named Sasha which I love dearly. However, This new little baby has re-captured my heart and I love her to pieces... LOL My name is Donna and my new baby is Bella, which as I am sure most of us I know means "Beautiful" in Italian. She is 13 weeks today and weighs 1.6 lbs. I know she will be small. I take her almost everywhere with me in a front puppy pack and she sticks her little head out and everyone says, awwwwwww. She is a beauty. I am new on here and I look forward to reading as much info as I can. I have already learned so much. My avatar is a pic of Bella. |

| Hello and welcome to Yorkie Talk. Congratulations on your new Bella, her name suits her perfectly. I also got a birthday Yorkie almost three years ago, it makes the birthday so much sweeter every year!

| Aww she's beautiful. Ruby and I are also in San Antonio, and I try taking her everywhere. Ruby was about 1.9 lbs. at four months and she is now 3.6 lbs. (1 yr, 3 months). Did you get Bella locally? My birthday is coming up...LOL |

| I did get her locally from a backyard breeder (hobby breeder) in Von Ormey. What part of San Antonio are you in? I am actually outside of San Antonio, near Lake Medina. |

We are right by UTSA. I've heard of Von Ormey, but not sure where it is located. I've been kicking around the idea of getting Ruby a companion. I'm just not sure I'm ready for the work of a new puppy. Ruby is so settled in her routine. | |
