| Lets get to know each other :) I just saw a post that made me think of this one. Lets get to know each other. If you are comfortable tell us about yourself, family and of course your YT. I'll start...... My name is Stephanie, I just turned 25 on 3/11 My husbands name is Daniel and he is almost 27 7/29 We have been together for 6yrs and married a little over 2 1/2yrs our anniversary is 9/27 and we married on Sept 27th 2008. I have a son Blaze who is almost 7 (5/13/04) who is my hero. He is from a previous and has Hypotonic Cerebral Palsy which has affected his development. He also has ataxia which affects his balance. He recently fell at school and fractured his left elbow. He is tough. My husband and I have a daughter together. Her name is Emmalee and she just turned 3 yesterday 4/16. She is too independent and has grown up around boys her whole life. Tough little girl. When she was born on 4/16/2008 she could not maintain O2 levels and was diagnosed with laryngomalacia. She at her age now still has residual larynogomalacia and stridor (loud breathing). Last but not least is Minnie who was born on 9/30/10. She came into our family on 12/1/10. In a matter of time I seriously had her giving me kisses on command. How smart is that. Minnie is spoiled with toys, clothes and has and will go to the vet when I know something is wrong whether its tracheal irritation (she has had, we no longer use collars) or anything else like routine visits. Minnie is 7 months old and is 2lbs 9oz. I have never taken her to the groomer and idk if I will or not. She hates when the water is running but is fine when its off and I am washing her. She at 7 months old will stand there and let me comb her hair out after a bath to get the knots out. Minnie sleeps with us. I am proud to say that during the winter since it was harsh with the temps that we did not take her out. Her sweater was XXS and still didn't fit her til about 3 months later. Anywho she was never leash trained but now since its nice outside she goes for walks on the harness and acts as if she knows what to do when walking. Any questions just ask or message. BTW I am in Columbia, Missouri (Central Missouri) Last edited by MinniesMom10; 04-17-2011 at 10:53 AM. Reason: forgot something |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Hi Stephanie: My name is Donna and I'll be 56 in July - No real hobbies (unless you consider shopping for doggie clothes and accessories a hobby) - I spend most of my time catering to the girls....they have me very well trained! I work 40 hours a week doing clerical work at a trucking company - so any home time is divoted to Bridget and Greta. I live in Erie, PA I have 2 children Jennifer 28 and Adam 26. My son (and his girlfriend) blessed me with a grandson, Bradley in July of 2009. Just recently Bradley was diagnosed with Autism - it had taken some getting used to - but as a family we'll be there to help him. Luckily he was diagnosed at an early age and is on the lower end of the spectrum - his speach seems to be what is affected the most. So I have been busy reading and learning all I can about this thing that has it's hooks into Bradley and how to help him. My sons girlfriend has a little boy Devon who is 6 years old and I consider him my grandson as well. My son and his family just moved back home from Fayetteville NC and I'm thrilled to death. My daughter is still single but dating a very nice guy (who was just in the movie Love and Other Drugs with Anne Hathaway). My daughter returned to college after a few years and now is graduating Suma cum Laude. She's an amazing person - very giving and caring. She lives in Pittsburgh, PA and volunteers at a shelter that mostly rescues Pit Bulls. I am divorced and have been for 14 years now. I am engaged now to a man who at times I'd like to re-home, but haven't had any takers - j/k. We've been together about about 12 years now. My girls are Bridget and Greta. After years of Tony telling me NO DOGS, we adopted 3 cats, and I just HAD to have a dog - so after publically shaming him into letting me get one, we adopted Bridget, our yorkie who was an Amish puppymill resuce. We got her as a puppy (about 16 weeks old) and Tony just fell in love with her. Nine months later we adopted Greta, our Biewer. Greta came from Dee (here on YT), and she is just amazing..(as is Dee - I could sing her praises all day to anyone who wants to listen). The man who at one time said NO DOGS comes home every day saying "How are Daddy's Diva's"! Both the girls share October as their birth-month one on the 11th and the other on the 13th.....almost exactly the same age (turned 1 this past October). They have filled the empty nest syndrome I was going through - and don't have a clue what I'd do without them! Thanks for sharing - it's very nice to meet you!
