Training books, I need help!! Does anyone have any recommendations for good books to help with training?? Mostly housetraining but I could use some help in other areas too. Looking for book names, where to get them, or if anyone has any good ones they want to sell. Samson was doing so good and now he seems to be regressing. I need help!!!

I had purchased several books when Maggie was little. However the very best one I found is written by Sharda Baker. The book is called, "Yorkshire Terriers-Small and Sweet With A Little Bit Of Attitude". She has a website of www.shardabaker.com You download the book on your computer. I also printed it out, so I could have a hard copy right at hand.

The book is 89 pages long. With dial-up it would take forever to email.

I bought a book at Books A Million called Your Yorkshire Terrier, its white soft bound with red lettering. It was the best book for everything from how to pick the dog out to going to Rainbow Bridge. I'm not sure if the title is exactly right but very close, can't find it at the moment. I used it religiously for potty training, obedience training, diet, just about anything and it was a lifesaver. I never had a purebred dog before and found out everything I needed to know and more. I highly recommend it. Now that I found this site, some of the experts here give the same advice, so I felt very good about getting it without any firsthand knowledge.

In addition to the books, I'd like to refer you to the worlds' most awesome website about dog training: http://www.clickersolutions.com/art...x.htm#behaviors Scroll down the page until you find "Puppy Training". The rest of the page has great articles as well! Good luck and happy reading!
