Senior Yorkie Talker | Just odd to me I thought Bentley had silky hair. Then all of a sudden his hair started to feel almost coarse. What's up with that? Its not a big deal. I just found it odd. Can stress cause his hair to change? I was in the hospital (had my baby) for a few days and he's used to being with me at all times. Then when I got home his hair felt different. I know he's stressed and probably confused. I have been doing my best to give him his own time everyday but he still seems almost aloof. I'm a bit worried but feel that he will adjust. Guess I just thought his hair change was odd. This picture was taken yesterday on our walk. He was very excited to be out and about. |

| HOW CUTE IS HE!!! I just want to cuddle that little boy!! Oh my...I bet he has your heart strings huh! Moshe's hair was cotton-ey when I first got him but it is turning more silky now. I think it was because the people I got him from had him on the dollar general brand of dog food (may as well of been giving him wood chippings) and I switched him to Blue Buffalo Puppy Lamb and oatmeal. We saw a change pretty fast on coat. I'm sure he will adjust, and I suppose stress could change the hair. I would think it would come closer to falling out rather than changing the texture. Of course I have no real idea as Moshe is my first Yorkie.

| I believe some things have an effect on coat. Not sure as i am no expert..lol..But when I first got Foxy she was being poorly fed and pretty much neglected and her coat was awful. It was super coarse, looked broken almost, and the hair on her head was very thin. Now with good food and LOVE (lots of LOVE)..lol..her coat is still coarse, but begining to change slowly as far as being softer and more silky looking.

| 1st Off Congrats to the baby! The pic is adorable. What does he eat on a daily basis? Stress can take a toll, but more likely it's attributed to diet or environment... has he been anyplace out of the norm? On to the baby, Boy/Girl??? all ok?? Congrats again

Senior Yorkie Talker | He eats Wellness Small Bites. But he used to eat Solid Gold. His coat seemed better with Solid Gold now that I think about it. Since being on Wellness his eyes seem to water more and his coat just isn't as shiny and soft. Maybe I will try to switch back to see if that isn't the problem. Thanks for the congrats on the baby. Its our 2nd boy. His name is Dallas and his brother's name is Memphis. They're a year and a half apart. Their dad is deployed right now and hasn't met him yet. Not much longer though. He was born April 1st. Couldn't feel more blessed with two healthy boys and of course Beentley who is like another child to me. Haha! The only thing that will make it better is having my husband home safe and sound. |

| Congratulations on your sweet new baby Dallas. May your arms be even more full very soon when your dear husband returns home to you safely. Thank you for your family's sacrifice to our country.
