| Back from the vet... Well I took Foxy to the vet today to have her checked out...They gave her the bordetella vaccine and rabies shot, also did a heartworm test .And it was negative..thank goodness, because I had no idea of her shot history, etc...They are going to do the rest of her vaccines in about 3-4 weeks, they didnt want to do too many today to cause a vaccine reaction. She does weigh 4.4 lbs, and of course she is 5 years old. They said she has dental disease (which I had already figured because her mouth is horrible and it really stinks)..the vet said at least 1-3 teeth will need to be pulled, and they are so bad its going to take at least an hour to clean them. They will spay her and do her dental at same time, they assured me this will be safe and they keep a close monitor on body temp, etc during surgery, the vet said if for any reason things start to look bad during anesthesia they will stop her dental..So I am feeling really good about everything, and I am hoping this little one will blossom into the gorgeous girl I know she is..They loved her sweet personality, and said she was so well behaved when they gave her the shots. They also commented that her coat could look better, but I assured them that I am giving her good quality food now and that hopefully that would help. So all in all it was a good visit. We have alot more vet time coming up, but soon she will be good as new..Sorry this was so long, thanks for listening!
