| Few stray hairs sticking up Max has a few stray hairs between his eyes that stick up.I'm afraid to cut them because their so close to his eyes, and he squirms alot.Is their anything I can put on them to mat them down, someone suggested Vaseline.I'm not sure about that though.I wet it and push it down, but it just pops back up again.I know I should cut them,I'm just afraid to use a scissor that close to his eyes. What should I do?Any ideas?

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Vaseline is fine. Another product is pet silk gel. Once they get past the "stick in their eyes" stage...it'll lay flat along his nose.

| This is what a some of us use at the dog shows to hold up top Knots and to make it look smooth. Make sure you use a small makeup brush and just smooth his hair down with this. It holds great. Amazon.com: Aussie Catch the Wave Sprunch Hair... Also, if you buy it using this link they will donate a portion to YHR!! Last edited by manolos mom; 03-28-2011 at 03:28 PM. |

YT 1000 Club Member | Maxman, Use a long Pair of Scissors, and place the hair to be cut very near the joint of the Scissors. This will put the Blade Points well out away from his eyes

| That is how I do it! Some of them have hair that will not lay flat along the nose no matter how long it gets.
