| My yorkie doesn't like wellness puppy food? I used to feed my puppy royal cannin, but right now im changing her food to wellness because of good reviews. She doesn't eat... should i change another brand or keep it on to wellness? will she eat if i just leave the wellness food there for few days to let her know im not changing food anymore? what is good advice for me? | I'd give it a little while longer before switching to a different food. Try sprinkling just a bit of grated parmesan cheese over her food - the scent attracts a lot of puppies and gets them used to eating the food. If it works, just gradually stop adding the parmesan after a few weeks. Make sure you're making the change from RC to Wellness gradually. Switching too fast could upset her tummy and make her not want to eat. The important thing is to find a food your girl likes (and you like) that she does well on. Good luck! Bonny

| Perhaps mixing the RC in with the Wellness will help her become use to the new food. My dogs are on wellness super 5 mix. They eat well . I do free feed them too.

| There is a process of switching the food and its like a week long process. Mix RC with Wellness. First day more of RC and eventually less RC and more Wellness. Give it a full week or two weeks. If she doesn't eat it then perhaps trying different flavour (i don't know how wellness comes.. but RC comes in one flavour) Because even though a dog might eat one brand they might not like the certain flavour combination!

| my local pet stores provided me with samples of different foods, it gave me a chance to review the ingredients and let him try them out. I changed from royal to wellness puppyand then went to Orijen for adult food |

| im changing rc bc it only have 1star. Wellness puppy food have better quality food which is 5star. I do research at Dog Food Analysis - Reviews of kibble . I don't want to keep changing food bc i tried before and my puppy only excited within less than a week.. After one week she feel bored with the food. So this time im trying to stay with wellness puppy food. (Some pple said puppy is like a baby, we dun want to give him wat they like, which is better giving them wat is good for. For example: baby will choose chocolate instead of carrot) this guy want me to leave the food there for few days to let her know im not going to change the food anymore so she will eat it? Anyone think this will be a good idea? |

| Yes it is for puppies...Taste of the Wild is based on a prey model non RAW diet...feed the foul and not the salmon or lamb...

Like a previous poster have said, many stores will give u samples or sell you a sample bag which is like $3 (I know for a fact that orijen has a small bag for like 3$) try to see if you can get samples or small bags instead of buying a KG bag and have ur puppy not try it. but patience will help

| My little guy loves his Taste of the Wild too. It is an All Life Stages food...Perfect for Puppies and Adults. I think it's an excellent food for the money. It sure beats the heck out of alot of foods offered at Petco/Petsmart chains. I can find it at Tractor Supply for around $40 for 30#. |
